Marketplaces and SLO’s: An interview with Marcin Kurc
Catch the podcast on your favorite podcatcher. We go where you go.
Episode Description
Marcin Kurc is the co-founder and CEO of Nobl9 and has been involved in IT for over 20+ years. He has held leadership positions at some of cloud computing’s biggest names, including Novell, Amazon and Google.
Kurc’s first startup, Orbitera, was acquired by Google to become a key component for how Google allows partners to sell from the Google Cloud Marketplace. It was through this Google acquisition process and subsequent replatforming of Orbitera (to run at “Google scale”) that Kurc saw in action the SRE practices at Google that run the world’s most popular services, like Google Search and Gmail.
At Nobl9, Kurc is on a mission to make Service Level Objectives (“SLOs”) the centerpiece of DevOps and reliability engineering.
