MSP360 and HaloPSA have released a deep integration that connects MSP360’s Managed Backup, RMM, and Managed Connect tools with HaloPSA’s service management interface. This integration enables managed service providers (MSPs) to streamline operations by eliminating manual processes and improving response times through features such as one-click remote access, automated ticket creation, and continuous asset synchronization. The integration includes the ability to automatically create tickets in HaloPSA when alerts are triggered in MSP360, ensuring detailed context for support teams. This integration is currently available to all users of both platforms and can be enabled through the MSP360 management console. It aims to enhance efficiency for MSPs by consolidating endpoint management and service delivery in a unified environment.
Augmentt has announced the completion of an CAD $18 million Series A financing round, led by Camber Partners. The funding will enable Augmentt to accelerate its product roadmap and enhance its market operations to address the strong demand from Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for a unified solution for tenant posture monitoring and management. The platform is designed for MSPs to secure and manage Microsoft 365 environments at scale, featuring tools for automation that aid in delivering managed services efficiently. This release responds to challenges faced by modern MSPs, including rising labor costs and increasing client demands for security and visibility. Augmentt aims to provide a multi-tenant security and compliance management solution specifically for Microsoft 365, facilitating standardized and profitable service delivery across clients.
LogicMonitor has announced the acquisition of Catchpoint, integrating their capabilities into a new AI-powered observability platform. This platform aims to provide predictive visibility and control across cloud, code, and the Internet, moving away from reactive observability practices. Key features include integrated monitoring of infrastructure, Internet performance, and user experience data in a single platform. The system utilizes AI to predict potential issues before they result in downtime and simplifies operations by reducing the number of tools and alerts required. This acquisition aims to enhance performance monitoring at a global scale, leveraging Catchpoint’s existing Internet Performance and Digital Experience Monitoring capabilities.
Why do we care?
Vendors are doubling down on the idea that integrations and AI-driven platforms are going to save MSPs time. Maybe. But MSPs need to look past the press releases and ask one question: does this actually remove work from my day, or does it just move it somewhere else?
That MSP360 and HaloPSA integration? It’s great if it cuts manual steps. It’s a headache if it just auto-creates more noise in your PSA. Don’t assume automation is good automation—tune it before you trust it.
Augmentt raising a big round tells you investors see real demand in M365 security. But capital brings pressure. Expect aggressive roadmaps and changes to partner programs. The opportunity for MSPs is to standardize your M365 security offering, not to bolt on another tool because it sounds unified.
And LogicMonitor buying Catchpoint is another sign that monitoring vendors know the old model isn’t working. Alert fatigue is real. AI-driven observability could help, but only if it reduces the noise. Don’t take “predictive” at face value—pilot it and see if it actually tells you something useful before your customer does.
The real trend here is that MSPs are being nudged toward more complexity with the promise of efficiency. Your job is to pick tools that support your service design, not inflate it. Focus on the platforms that help you deliver clear, repeatable customer outcomes—and ruthlessly ignore the rest.
At the center of every one of today’s stories—AI vulnerabilities, cross-tenant Teams risks, account-takeover fraud, MSP readiness gaps, and vendor integrations—is the same lesson: identity and data governance are now the real control plane. Tools don’t matter if the trust boundaries underneath them are weak. MSPs that master identity, access, and clean data are the ones who will deliver secure AI, safer collaboration, and meaningful automation.
