Apple has launched a new subscription service called AppleCare One, priced at $19.99 per month, which provides coverage for up to three devices. This service consolidates the protections previously offered through separate AppleCare+ plans and includes benefits such as unlimited repairs for accidental damage, 24/7 support, and theft and loss protection for devices like iPads and Apple Watches. Customers can now add coverage for Apple products they already own, provided they are in good condition and up to four years old. This allows users to save money by bundling coverage for devices instead of enrolling in individual plans. AppleCare One is available immediately in the United States and can be signed up for via Apple devices or at Apple Stores.
Why do we care?
Apple’s taking the headache out of support. No piecemeal plans, no wondering if your device is covered. For MSPs, there’s a big lesson here. This is what great maintenance looks like—bundled, simple, and sticky.
The question for IT services? Are your support offerings seamless and value-rich—or a patchwork of line items? Apple’s proving people will pay for peace of mind if the experience is right.
