The Global Technology Industry Association, formerly known as the CompTIA Community, has officially rebranded to focus exclusively on serving the Information Technology channel. This change follows the sale of the Computing Technology Industry Association’s CompTIA brand and its training and certification business, which will now operate separately. The association continues to support over 2,000 managed service providers, solution providers, technology vendors, and distributors, representing tens of thousands of professionals globally. With a substantial endowment created from the sale, the association plans to keep membership dues affordable while expanding charitable initiatives in technology. The organization is in the process of searching for a new Chief Executive Officer. This change follows the sale of the CompTIA brand and its training business, which will now operate separately.
