And talking about Microsoft today, let’s follow up on that VBA macro auto-blocking. After announcing it was on, then off, well. It’s back. Today, the company announced it was resuming the rollout after the company improved its user and admin support documentation to make it easier to understand the available options when a macro is blocked.
I’m going to chalk this up to being a rollout stumble – and if the concern was user experience, that’s undoubtedly the constant trade-off required by security. They got back to the endpoint and didn’t renege on their promise.
